How do get to and from the airport? (Updated April 22, 2022)

Shuttle buses operate 24/7 365 days a year to and from the airport. Shepard Road Airport Parking serves both Terminal 1 (formally Lindberg) and Terminal 2 (formally Hubert Humphrey). Upon your return once you have your Luggage please call 651-690-1200 to request a ride back to our location. A Shepard Road Airport Parking shuttle bus will arrive at Terminal 1 approximately every 15 minutes. Customers are always encouraged to call for a ride back to our location once leaving baggage claim at either Terminal.

Beginning May 2, 2022,  customers will be picked up and dropped off at Stall 13 in the Off-Site parking shuttle location at Terminal 1. Customers with accessibility concerns can continue to be dropped off and picked up in designated areas that are easily accessed by alerting our drivers when boarding our shuttles initially and when requesting pickup from our dispatchers.

Are Reservations required for Airport Parking Services?

Reservations are not required for Minneapolis St Paul airport (MSP) parking, but encouraged. Our Online Reservation System is always free and easy to use and guarantees your spot will be waiting upon your arrival.

What times do I enter for my parking arrival and departure?

Airlines typically recommend arriving at the terminal two hours before your flight departure time. Please enter the time you wish to arrive at the parking lot (NOT your flight departure and arrival times).

What if my flight changes or I park at the lot longer than my reservation receipt indicates?

Your total price will be based on the actual length of time you are parked at Shepard Road Airport Parking. You are charged from the time you arrive at Shepard Road Airport Parking until the time you depart our lot.

What if I have a very long stay in mind?

If your stay will be more than 30 days, we require notice to be given to the management in the form of a reservation or in some written form indicating when you intend to be back to pick up your vehicle along with your contact information. Failure to provide us this information may result in your vehicle being towed off of our premises.

When do I pay and how?

You pay at the end of your vehicles stay with us. On the open lot all payments are made at the self-checkout exit via major credit card. On our ramp payment can be made at the self-checkout exit or by visiting the cashiers booth.

What form of payment is accepted at Shepard Road Airport Parking?

Shepard Road Airport Parking accepts cash and most major credit cards.

Do you require proof of reservation?

NO, simply pull a ticket when you arrive at one of our entrance gates if you have not booked a reservation to begin your vehicle’s stay with us. When you return from your trip simply scan your bar code on your ticket at one of our exit scanners, verify your total and then complete your stay with your credit card payment. Simple, fast and easy!

If you did book a reservation, proceed to either the ramp or open lot (depending on your reservation) and pull up to the entrance gate and simply scan the bar code from your email confirmation to gain entry. When you return from your trip simply scan the bar code from your email confirmation and your total will be displayed on the exit terminal. Pay with your credit card, grab your receipt and you are on your way! Simple fast and easy!

How much time should I allow to check-in and get to the airport?

The Shepard Road Airport Parking shuttle usually only takes about 5 to 10 minutes.

What should I do if I cannot print my Shepard Road Airport Parking reservation confirmation?

If you are unable to print your reservation confirmation, please notify us by phone at (651) 690-1200. We will arrange to email your confirmation to an alternate email address, or print your reservation confirmation on site. Reservation Confirmation bar-codes can be scanned by phone as well.

What are the hours of operation at Shepard Road Airport Parking?

We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Is the Shepard Road Airport Parking lot secure?

Yes, our lot is fenced, well-lighted and secure.

Is the Shepard Road Airport Parking ramp completely covered?

No. Our parking ramp is a four floor structure with covered parking on three floors, and then uncovered rooftop parking on our fourth floor. The covered area is available on a first come, first served basis. Reservations and tickets for the ramp are not a guarantee of covered parking, only parking on the ramp as opposed to the lot.
