How do I get to and from the airport?
Our shuttle buses operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to and from MSP Airport. Shepard Road Airport Parking services both Terminal 1 (formerly Lindbergh) and Terminal 2 (formerly Humphrey).
Upon your return, please proceed to the designated shuttle pickup area first. Once you have arrived at the pickup location, call 651-690-1200 to request pickup.
For the fastest service, please do not call before you reach the pickup area. Calling early (for example, from baggage claim) may delay service, as our drivers are dispatched based on your confirmed location.
During peak hours (6am-10pm) Shuttles typically arrive at Terminal 1 approximately every 15–20 minutes. Terminal 2 and after-hours pickups are on demand. Always wait to call to request a pickup from Terminal 2 until you have your checked luggage.

Do I need a reservation?
Reservations are highly recommended but not required. (Please note during Spring Break mid-February through mid-April non-reservation holders may not be accommodated if reservations only are in effect)
If you do not have a reservation:
- Pull a ticket at the entrance gate to begin your stay.
- Upon return, scan the barcode on your ticket at the exit terminal.
- Verify your total and complete payment using a credit or debit card.
If you have a reservation:
- Proceed to the ramp or open lot (based on your reservation selection).
- Scan the barcode from your email confirmation at the entrance gate.
- Upon return, scan the same barcode at the exit.
- Your total will be displayed. Complete payment and you’re on your way.
How much time should I allow to check in and get to the airport?
Our shuttle operates 24/7/365 to both MSP Airport terminals.
We recommend arriving 30 minutes ahead of the time you intend to arrive at the airport.
What times do I enter for my parking arrival and departure?
Airlines typically recommend arriving at the terminal two hours before your flight departure time. Please enter the time you wish to arrive at the parking lot (NOT your flight departure and arrival times).
What if my flight changes or I park at the lot longer than my reservation receipt indicates?
Your total price will be based on the actual length of time you are parked at Shepard Road Airport Parking. You are charged from the time you arrive at Shepard Road Airport Parking until the time you depart our lot.
What if I have a very long stay in mind?
If your stay will be more than 30 days, we require notice to be given to the management in the form of a reservation or in some written form indicating when you intend to be back to pick up your vehicle along with your contact information. Failure to provide us this information may result in your vehicle being towed off of our premises.
When do I pay and how?
We offer both online prepay and pay-upon-exit options.
Online Prepay
Book your reservation through our website. You will receive a QR code via text and email. Simply scan the QR code at the entrance and exit gates for express check-in and check-out.
Pay at Exit
Payment is made when you return from your trip.
- Open Lot: All payments are made at the self-checkout exit using a major credit or debit cards.
- Ramp: Payments can be made at the self-checkout exit or at the cashier’s window.
What form of payment is accepted at Shepard Road Airport Parking?
We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and tap-to-pay.
What should I do if I cannot print my Shepard Road Airport Parking reservation confirmation?
If you are unable to print your reservation confirmation, please notify us by phone at (651) 690-1200. We will arrange to email your confirmation to an alternate email address, or print your reservation confirmation on site. Reservation Confirmation bar-codes can be scanned by phone as well.
What are the hours of operation at Shepard Road Airport Parking?
We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Is the Shepard Road Airport Parking lot secure?
Yes, our lot is fenced, well-lighted and secure.
Is the Shepard Road Airport Parking ramp completely covered?
No. Our parking ramp is a four floor structure with covered parking on three floors, and then uncovered rooftop parking on our fourth floor. The covered area is available on a first come, first served basis. Reservations and tickets for the ramp are not a guarantee of covered parking, only parking on the ramp as opposed to the lot.
